There really wasn't that much snow, but it didn't seem to deter them. They had a great time sliding on all the ice patches and sledding on our little hill. By the time they had taken a few runs down the hill, they were sliding on mostly leaves, but they didn't mind.

One thing I really would love to have in a house is a mud room. We either use towels at our back door in the family room over the carpet where the kids dump everything, or in our front hallway, so cramped and small, over the wood floor. And these are only half your boots!
