Day 83 - Hydrangea

These are the dried flower heads of the hydrangea bush in my garden. It is amazing how things can look so dead and still be alive. A bit more warm weather and things will start to bud and turn green.

I love the dried hydrangea! Great picture with lots of texture. Hydrangeas remind me of my Mama - she loved them and had them in the backyard. I remember she'd put something (coffee grounds?) to make them turn pink. Or was it blue?

I planted a few of those last year and I'm sure hoping they come back this year! I don't know if you've been reading my blog long enough to know that we landscaped 5 areas last year so this is the first year for me to see what makes it!
