Brian and I both dislike painting fences, so our pool fence has taken on a nice weathered look these days. My sister in law, Theresa, has informed us that this worn, weather look is the in thing for fences these days! I knew our procrastination might benefit us someday!

Yep.. definitely "IN" these days. Our decorator friend calls it shabby chik (sp?)!
I'm supposed to build a few weathered fences for our flower beds to go with the weathered benches I already have (LOL)! I'll post a picture of them for you. They would match your fence perfectly.
So, how does one get this weathered look without neglecting the thing? I'd be interested in learning the technique.
